The state-of-the-art resistance welding current measurement
and calibration system is now available!!
Introducing a precision pulsed current measurement system with ease of use,
state-of-the-art accuracy and portability. The Resistance Welding Current
Measurement Standard/System (RWCMS), Model 1026 is a reliable measurement
system. It is designed to accurately calibrate resistance welding current
monitors and related controllers that are in wide use in the welding industry.
The Model 1026 can be used to measure single-phase AC currents. (Future
options will allow accurate measurement of DC welding currents.)
The RWCMS measurement accuracy is assured because it has been thoroughly
tested and calibrated using NIST calibrated high current measurements
standards. Further, HCT Inc. has no affiliation with any welding equipment
manufacturer which provides complete independence in the determination of
current values.
At the heart of this state-of-the-art measurement system is a precision
Rogowski coil air-core current sensor. RAMTech Engineering and HCT have
developed highly accurate, temperature stable and low position sensitivity
Rogowski coils for pulsed high-current measurement applications. This
extensive research and development has resulted in a coil that is virtually
insensitive to position and external magnetic fields-a failure in many coils
which creates unstable and inaccurate readings. This coils can be used in
an y welder secondary loop without effecting the measurement
results.
